The Blackstone Affair Series by Raine Miller

Naked (The Blackstone Affair #1) by Raine Miller

I did things backwards with this series, The Blackstone Affair, I read All In first and I am just getting around to reading Naked.  Naked is the first book in the series and by all means you should read if you haven’t.  I also want to go back and read All In, so I will be updating my review accordingly.

Naked starts off with an American girl, Brynne Bennett, in London modeling and her photos being sold at an art gallery.  The ever so hot Ethan Blackstone is at the gallery buying Brynne’s photo that she just so happens to be naked in.  Ethan's hotness is erotic in his own way and that accent is a defiantly a panty dropper.  Ladies, the description in the book reminds me of Adam Levine of Maroon 5 and let me say that is super sexy.  Maybe it’s because I just went to a Maroon 5 concert, but in my head that’s who I see as Ethan.

Ethan is a take charge kind of guy that owns a security firm and Brynne is a guy’s girl artist/model who is studying abroad in London.  Apparently Brynne is running from something that is not disclosed in this book, but I know because I read the sequel first, I will not spoil the surprise.

I absolutely love this book and can not wait to reread All In.  I think in the first review that I said All In was boarder line erotic.  Scratch that, it is mild in comparison to some I have read lately.  I can not wait for this third installment of The Blackstone Affair and I am now a huge Raine Miller fan.

After further investigation, I have read that the Ethan character was created in the image of David Gandy.  I do not know how true this is but I will let you decide who your Ethan is.

Adam or David?

All In (The Blackstone Affair #2) by Raine Miller

The second installment of Raine Miller’s The Blackstone Affair, All In, picks up where the first installment, Naked, leaves off. Let me suggest you read Naked first; this is not a stand alone series. I, however, have not read this first book and therefore missed out on some of the background information that plays an important role in the second book. All In is romance, borderline erotic, and begins with Ethan Blackstone being left by his girlfriend who apparently he lied to or hid the truth from, again hence the first book. The scene is set in London and is form the male point of view; and he appears to be a British security specialist, whereas, his love interest Brynne is American artist. Ethan is neurotic, possessive, and inarguably, obsessed with this girl, which he is madly in love with. She has some past issues of her own. Ethan tries to protect Brynne from her past as he juggles his career. The book ends in a cliffhanger, setting up for the next chapter. After reading this book I have been left with more question than answers. I will be reading Naked to get the back-story and catch up on this series.

UPDATE
I have since gone back and read Naked and reread All In and have to say loved it even more the second time.  I am totally hooked on this series and can not wait for the next installment of Ethan and Brynne's story.  It is sure to keep scortching my eyes and warmig my heart!

Eyes Wide Open (Blackstone Affair 3#) by Raine Miller
Eyes Wide Open is the third installment of the Blackstone Affair.  Just when you think this series can not get better, it does.  The sexy, seductive journey Raine Miller gives the readers is one that will not be easily forgotten and is sure to be on top of most women’s “to read” list.
This highly anticipated third book is written in both Brynne and Ethan’s POV, which gives us readers a slight edge over the first two books in this series.  The story picks up right where All In leaves off and does not miss a beat.  The story is faced paced and will suck you into the world of Ethan Blackstone. And what a great world to be sucked into!
I don’t want to give away spoilers for the die hard fans like me, but I will say that this chapter in the whirlwind romance is action-packed, love filled, and will not disappoint the Blackstone groupies.
I love this series.  It was the suck-you-in type book from the start and keeps getting stronger with each book.  Ethan is the hottest alpha male on the market today and the alluring relationship with Brynne is fascinating.  I love this couple.  Raine Miller keeps giving us what we want and we want more!
Favorite Quotes:
“Eyes on me, baby.  Always on me”

“I haven’t given you any gifts,” … “Don’t say that.  It’s not true.  You’ve given me this.”  He took my hand and placed it over his heart.  “And this.”  He put his hand over my heart.  “And this.” He put both hands over my belly and left them there.  “There are no greater gifts, Brynne.”

“I swear he could charm a nun out of her panties if he wanted to.”
